A year with Troop 41.
Fall tents. Winter cabins. Spring paddling. A summer week at camp.
These highlights come from the troop’s annual program, updated June 2026. They describe the planned rhythm of the year, not a confirmed event calendar. Rafting and canoeing are subject to a troop vote.
SEP–NOV
Fall
- Whitewater rafting is on the September plan.
- October and November include tent camping.
- Troop hikes share the fall with the Hopewell Harvest Fair.
DEC–FEB
Winter
- A holiday lights trip in December.
- Cabin or shelter camping in January.
- A February Court of Honor to recognize Scout progress.
MAR–MAY
Spring
- A March ski trip and shelter camping with Troop 71.
- An observatory trip and hiking on the April plan.
- Memorial Day parades in Hopewell Borough and Pennington.
JUN–AUG
Summer
- A canoeing trip on the June plan.
- Tuscarora summer camp together as a troop in July.
- Ockanickon and Nobebosco listed as provisional camp options.
- Troop hiking continues in August.
Service is part of the year, too.
The same program includes food drives, TurnPoint breakfasts, and work in Timberlane’s sixth-grade courtyard.
